WellRead Kids March Selection: A Mother is a House by Aurore Petit

This month's kid’s selection is a bright, beautiful book about a mother told from the perspective of her child. It shows that mothers are all sorts of wonderful things like mirrors and moons and melodies (don't worry, it will all make sense when you read it). The baby sees their mother in every aspect of their day. As the pages go by, the child grows. The mother who was a refuge becomes a road, a story and a show. Gorgeously illustrated, refreshingly real and oh so touching, we think this book is just glorious.
