Of course, tension rises when her critical eye leads to the success of her best friend’s musical career, leaving her without the credit she deserves. Spanning over a decade and set in New York, California and the mid-west, Deep Cuts explores the musical world, fragile relationships and facing up to the parts of your life you’d rather push down and ignore. 

This book is full of musical history and analysis and we found ourselves listening to our favourite tracks a little differently afterwards.
